How to Tell If an Online Calculator Is Accurate
Not all chart generators are equal. Here's what separates a trustworthy one from a sloppy one:
- Ephemeris-grade planetary data. Accurate Human Design depends on precise planetary positions. Good tools use astronomical ephemeris data (we calculate to 1-second precision for all 13 bodies). Vague or rounded positions produce wrong gates and lines.
- It asks for your exact time — and warns you if you guess. A tool that shrugs at birth time is a red flag. Minutes can change your Authority, Profile, and Variables.
- Correct historical timezone & DST. Your birthplace's timezone at the date you were born (including daylight saving quirks) must be applied. Many cheap tools get this wrong for older or international births.
- Both Personality and Design columns. A real bodygraph shows two activations per planet — the black (birth) and red (~88 days prior) columns. If you only see one, it's incomplete.
